As superintendent of JCS, I felt compelled to be a part of the distribution of American Flags today to clear up any misconceptions of JCS not partnering with groups like Woodman Life.
It was amazing to visit Cooper, West Smithfield, and Micro-Pine Level elementary schools today and pass out the greatest symbol that stands for the United States, our American Flag.
Partnering with Woodman Life brought smiles to all of the students faces as they received their very own flag. All of our students were well behaved on our visits, and the teachers, staff and administration are doing an excellent job in helping educate our students.
It was truly wonderful to be out and about inside the schools, where a superintendent is supposed to be.
